Identification: Dog-like animal. Light red-brown in color with black and grey back and tail. 

​Mass: 7-11.5 kg  /  15-25 lbs

​Shoulder height: 38 cm  /  15″

Life expectancy: 13 years

​Habitat: Occupies a wide variety of habitats. Avoids overly wet river areas. 

​Habits: Both day and night dwelling. Especially active during dawn and dusk. They live in pairs that form territories, but tend to walk around alone. This territory will be marked and protected by both male and female. Rests in old anteater burrows and rock crevasses during the hot periods of the day. Extremely sly and cunning animals. 

Hunting: Hunting will take place at night with predator callers. Similar to coyote hunting in the US.
