Identification: Unmistakable long nek and legs. Light brown block pattern on a yellow-white skin. The boast two short horns.

Habitat: Giraffe live on a wide variety of plant matter. They prefer thorn trees. Giraffe are adapted to numerous different terrains.  

Habits: Predominantly day living. They rest during the warm periods of the day, either laying down or standing with the head upright. Herd animals, but with a loose herd structure, individuals move freely between herds. Most mature bulls will walk alone. Bulls fight by swinging their heads into one another.
