Deposits: A minimum deposit of 50% of your daily rates for the entirety of your safari will confirm your booking. A hunting contract also has to be signed by both the client and Doornrivier Safaris. The balance of your daily rates must be settled upon arrival at Doornrivier Safaris. In the case that you book one of our all-inclusive packages, 40% of the package fee is payable as a deposit.

Payments: All payments are to be done in USD $. Payment for trophies hunted can be done on the last day of the safari as we know that species sometimes get added to your wish list as the safari progresses. We accept cash, electronic fund transfers (EFT) and card payments. Banking details will be provided on request. Please note all card payments will have an 3.5% surcharge added to your final invoice to cover transaction fees.  

Wounded animals, where blood is found, will be regarded as a hunted trophy, regardless if it is retrieved or not. The full trophy fee applies in cases such as this.

Gratuities: You are more than welcome to provide your professional hunter or camp staff with a tip. It is not expected and it is always up to the clients’ discretion. Tips can be in the form of cash or an amount of the hunters liking added to the final invoice amount which will then be distributed as the hunter requests. 

Cancellation policy: In the event a safari has to be cancelled the entire deposit will be forfeited as administrative fees. Unless the safari can be rescheduled to a different date in the same hunting season. These dates are subject to availability.
